Tube 'n Axe - Storms River's  best backpackers by far offers a vibey African bush style restaurant, entertainment and bar area.

The bar is built entirely with materials from the surrounding Tsitsikamma area and is equipped with big screen satellite TV, pool table, table soccer, bungee chords and loads of smiles. In addition we are equipt with a  recently built indoor fireplace which transforms the bar area keeping the cold out and the party flames burning. We ensure that lazy afternoons and evenings are filled with fun!

 

Self-Catering Kitchen

Fully equipped: pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, herbs, spices, oven, microwave, coffee, tea, it's all there!

                                               

 

Braai facilities

We have braai places, grids, tongs and wood, you just bring your meat, or buy from the local butcher.

Tube 'n Axe has empowered previously disadvantaged staff member Anelma by handing over their kitchen to her to run as her own business.

The facility is open from 7:30am-8:00pm so she guarantees to keep your tummy full with delicious food; from banana pancakes in the morning to her rich ostrich potjie at night with a selection of in-betweeners like hot soup and fresh home-made bread, scrumptious sandwiches and tangy chicken spinach and feta pancakes.

 

Shuttle Service

We will get you where you need to go! We're getting Danny set up with his independent shuttle service for the area as a transformation project. The aim is to set up and formalize another sustainable business that is completely non-white and 100% involved in tourism. We hope that our competitors will someday grow up and support him too.
